- We do not sell your data and do not show advertising.
- You can delete your account in the game at any time.
What we collect
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Player account identifiers: a random device ID and the player ID that Epic Online Services gives your account | To log you in without a password and to keep your progress |
| Your gladiator's name and game progress (matches played, debt, ludus, league, appearance choices) | To save your progress in the cloud and restore it on another device. Your gladiator's name is shown to other players in matches. |
| Sign in with Apple or Google (optional): the account identifier Apple or Google gives the game. We do not receive your password, and we do not use your e-mail address. | To recover your account on a new device |
| Transfer codes (optional): a code you create to move your account to another device. We store only a one-way hash of it, and it expires after 60 minutes. | To move your account between devices and platforms |
| Gameplay and device statistics: game events (e.g. match started, match result, settings used, download progress), device model, operating system version, performance level, country derived from your IP address, and session times | To find bugs, measure performance and improve the game |
| Network data: your IP address | To connect you to a match server near you, to download game content, and to limit abuse (e.g. guessing transfer codes) |
We do not collect your location from GPS, your contacts, photos, microphone or other files on your device.
Who processes the data
We use these service providers. They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy policies:
- Epic Games, Epic Online Services: player accounts, cloud save, stats and leaderboards. Epic's privacy policy
- GameAnalytics: gameplay and device statistics. GameAnalytics privacy policy
- Edgegap: hosting of online match servers. Edgegap privacy policy
- Cloudflare: download of game content and the account transfer service. Cloudflare privacy policy
- Apple and Google: only if you choose to sign in with them, and the app stores you install the game from.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account and progress data: until you delete your account.
- Transfer codes: until used or 60 minutes after creation.
- Gameplay statistics: as long as GameAnalytics retains them under its retention policy.
- Server logs: a short period, for operating and protecting the service.
Deleting your account
In the game, open your profile, then ACCOUNT › DELETE ACCOUNT. This deletes your cloud save, your transfer codes and the progress stored on the device. Remaining records at Epic Online Services (your player ID, stats and leaderboard entries) are deleted when we process the request. You can also ask for deletion by e-mail to onur.tercan@martianbull.com, stating your gladiator's name.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, UK GDPR, KVKK in Turkey or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To use these rights, contact us at the address above. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Our legal bases are: performing our agreement with you to provide the game (account, cloud save, matches), and our legitimate interest in improving and protecting the game (statistics, abuse prevention).
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Transfer codes are stored only as hashes, and the screen that shows them blocks screenshots and screen recording where the device allows it.
Changes
We will update this page when the game's data use changes and change the date at the top.
